So that is what Cat is organizing - a network of Disabled and Widowed Women safely, empoweringly, creating the embroidery art and cultural story telling pieces Afghan women have been famously creating for centuries . Her October 1st launch requires $1200 for the first group to buy supplies and sustain the women's families for that first month of production. The goal is for this first group of women to complete and deliver the first sets of embroidery art pieces three-four weeks later. This project is sustainable, worthy, and guided by the knowledgeable, and careful, actions Cat Parenti is taking to continue a "conversation with love" in her heart land of Afghanistan.
